Large and huge room, I loved the hotel!
The hotel has quiet location so close to shops and restaurants as well as the train station. It also was to the best restaurant in town. My room included satellite TV, climate control, and an individual safe.

Everything here was great and my room was quiet. Loved the room with very comfortable beds, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. Location: the hotel was just off Samarkand Safar, the highlights of Samarkand, and the center. Stopped by Art Cafe Cinzano to get some coffee and treats, it's around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the venue, recommend...

I absolutely loved the elegant and charming decor of Hotel Samarkand Safar. The beautiful carpets, traditional artwork, and comfortable seating areas created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, it was delightful to relax in the hotel's general areas and soak in the rich cultural ambiance. The accessibility of the hotel was also great for senior guests like myself, with well-maintained ramps and elevators ensuring easy movement throughout the premises.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing information about nearby attractions and arranging transportation.

The hotel where I always stay in Samarkand has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, and a refreshing welcome drink. They even helped me print something on my first visit. Perfect for my business trips.

The hotel’s location near the old center is fantastic, close to nice restaurants and the best restaurant in town. the huge rooms with high ceilings and large windows are very cosy, with enormous bathrooms. the staff is very helpful and respectful, providing tea/coffee while waiting for the room and helping with everything they can, whether it’s calling a taxi or finding information about train tickets. the breakfast is great and the hotel offers a large dinning/living room area where guests can relax with some tea and treats.
There was one aspect of the hotel that was a bit disappointing. the bathroom was small, which made it difficult to move around freely.

The hotel had a cosy and homely atmosphere due to its small size with only 6 rooms. the breakfast provided was delicious and the staff made sure we had a pleasant stay. the location of the hotel was convenient, with key attractions within easy reach.
There was a problem with the shower pressure and hot water availability due to an electric issue in the neighborhood. the hotel went above and beyond by having a generator running to mitigate this problem.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Samarkand! The owner, Mr Farkhod, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. He greeted me with a delicious meal, including the best roasted chicken I had in Uzbekistan. We enjoyed a lovely chat in the garden. The room was spacious and clean. The location was great, just a short walk to the Registan square. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade pear and prune jams. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel!
